Tired of Lost in Translation experience? Travelling too much for work and feeling poisoned A. from not getting anything to eat when flying budget OR B. not flying budget but the airline food of my most common NON-budget airline brands BA, Finnair, SAS and Air France is just a dreadful experience. Unbelievable, that even on these days when the domestic cuisine of countries that are not known for having wonderful food, like England and my home country, Finland, is getting so much better thanks to raising standards of living, competition from foreign food imports, celebrity chefs, demanding cook clubs and food obsessed media, the serving standard on airline is getting so much POORER!
I have had a pleasure to fly quite a bit in Business class but the food even there in seldom more than old bread and something prepared days ago! Most time, however, I fly tourist class and starve, or pack my own thing. Why the airlines, now when they fly with empty seats due to credit crunch, do not get it. People travel around the world after food, the airlines simply can not start serving it on the air????
I plead to my fellow travellers, write about it, fight about and shout about it!
